Fitting it all in 24 Hours with Rachel Curran

Season 2, Episode 3

[DISPLAY_ULTIMATE_PLUS] One thing that I am keenly interested in is the ability for mamas to be entrepreneurs. It used to be almost a question of one or the other...stay at home mom or corporate. Now, with the internet there is a whole spectrum of possibility opening up that I think is the game changer for women - It gives us the opportunity to be individuals and share our unique voice with the world and not have to give up being mom. Recovering Corporate But here’s the caveat to that...it’s not that things get easier this way. In fact, there is often more to juggle and it can leave us women feeling overwhelmed, not good enough, elicit an onslaught of mum guilt and the whole shabang. But ladies...it’s possible. With the right tools, support, and finding the rhythm that works for you, you can have it all. You just have to decide what that means to you. So in today’s show of the #mumboss podcast we dig into this very big, and very important, topic of work life balance. Are you ready? I’m your host Rachel Maskell and today’s expert is Rachel Curran. Rachel is a former corporate VP now exploring life beyond the 9-5 as a freelance writer and mama to her toddler girls. She writes the blog, Recovering Corporate. Couple of notes, there is some language towards the end of the show that may not be suitable for young children...a little difficult to talk about mum guilt without some profanity. And the questions from our mamas were recorded at ALT and contain a bit of background noise. Ok, let’s get started!
